Plant delivery

Delivery is Mon- Fri usually within 7 working days of you paying for the plants. Delivery charge and service is dependent on where you live. Plants need careful handling and packing, to ensure they arrive in good condition. they can’t be left overnight in a vehicle when it is warm, for example. Both of our services provide specialised hand picking and packing to accommodate the nature of the care the plants need.

We have 2 delivery services:

1. Premium delivery service, this is provided by the nursery drivers & vehicles. You will get a named driver and a time slot. This is available within an approximate 2 hour radius of the nursery: S/E and London area and they deliver to your doorstep. You will need to move the plants into your back garden.

2. Courier service - provided by a specialist garden courier. Plants arrive carefully hand packed onto a palette. (Delivery can be over obstacles, if space is limited). Ideally delivered onto a drive way. If you do not have a drive they will look for a suitable place in your front garden or on the pavement. You will need to unpack the palette and move the plants by hand into your garden. There is no rush, as the palette is yours. You will need to dispose of the palette yourself.

How much is delivery?

Pallette deliveries are £10 each order, Our premium delivery service is £50. If you really want the premium service this can be offered outside of the areas mentioned for an additional cost. Add to the special requests box in the checkout.

What happens if plants get damaged during delivery?

Our nursery pride themselves in quality in what they grow and how they select and pack & deliver. If a plant is damaged please let us know as soon as possible. If you notice it when the driver is there please notify them. See our t&c’s for more information.

Can the delivery driver help me to move plants to the garden?

The drivers for our nursery delivery service are on a schedule that gives them no time to move plants beyond your front step. If they do, it can delay subsequent deliveries and disappoint other customers. Many customers tell us that their boots are a little too muddy anyway! But whilst the driver unloads your plants at the front, do take the opportunity to move plants to your back garden simultaneously. They won’t mind!

Who do I contact if my delivery doesn’t turn up?

We are extremely sorry if this has happened to you. You can speak to the delivery company/ nursery direct and they will do their best to get things resolved quickly.
